4th WUKF European Championship
We are delighted to announce that Hungarian team returned with 4 bronze and 1 gold medal from the WUKF European Championship for Seniors and Veterans. Teams of 22 countries were taking part all of them saying this has been the hardest EC ever. Still it is kumite that we should practice more to close up to the front line. Winning a medal is kumite is getting even harder as several powerful associations arrived from WKF last year.

We should mention that István Sipos and Péter Gyüre managed to win medal in very strong rengokai veteran categories. Win of the sport diplomacy was that our Shihan Kando Shibamori was awarded by 9th dan diploma of the World Union of Karate Federation at the opening ceremony acknowledging his instructor work by the President Mr Osvaldo Oliveira.
