15-17 April 2005 - Saint Etienne, France

Saint Etienne

IWKU seminar was held between 17 and 17 April 2005 in Saint Etienne, France, where sensei Shibamori Kando introduced his knowledge and teaching method. All the wado dojo leaders from Lyon county independently from their organizational status and a lot of black belt competitors were taking part on the program.

Other section of the program was, as it has become usual, the self defence training led by Tibor Rostas Head of IWKU Hungary, where he taught self-developed police scrum cathes. As those trainings are very popular can be seen from the fact that lot from the last year's participants were coming again. French people seemed to be very attentive and warm hearted hosts, as even the snowing unusual at that time could not spoil the "stage's" mood. The French delegation accepted the invitation of Dr. Alexander Hevesi, President of IWKU that they might visit Austria and the Hungarian Summer Camp this year.
