WKC European Championships

The Hungarian Wado-Ryu Karate Organisation represented Hungary with a team of 5 at the WKC European Championships in Italy. Team members: Ákos Nagy, Márton Jánosi, Tamás Pénzes, Zoltán Szabó and Tamás Zoltán. The team was accompanied by Coach Gábor Számedli and our international referees Dr. Csaba Bárdi and Márk Molnár. At our greatest pleasure Ákos Nagy, our instructor from Bátaszék gained victory in Individual Male Kata, obtaining the first European Chamionship Gold Medal for our Organisation.

Born: 3 December 1973. Occupation: gym teacher. Place of work: Kanizsai Dorottya Primary School, Bátaszék.
July 2000: graded 3rd dan, 2003: Wado-Ryu Kata Hungarian Champion, 2004: WKC Kata European Champion.

Ákos Nagy, Male Kata European Champion of the Hungarian Wado-Ryu Karate Organisation is well known not only for his competition results, but rather for the results of his recruitment.
