Hungarians in the Josuikai Honbu Dojo
A Hungarian delegation of eight visited the Josuikai Honbu in Yokohama between 15-25 September, where we had a chance to meet Sensei Kazuo Sakai, 10th Dan. Sensei Sakai has already visited Hungary twice, 10 and 8 years ago, and must have had good experience, since our team was welcome as distinguished guests. Encouraged by Sensei Shibamori, who joined our team, we entered for the Japanese Championship on the 17th September. It happened that it escaped Sensei Shibamori's attention that the team members were seniors, some over the age of forty. As a consequence we were registered in open category, where as the only foreigners we fought the very best of the Japanese competitors. Our President, Tibor Rostas achieved 3rd place.
